The stock piece looks like this:

Where you attach a hose to it and then turn it and it will drain the coolant out the hose.

I believe that your pipe may be used for the water/oil cooler on the 90+ turbo blocks, but I am not positive.

Also FWIW i used that point for the coolant feed for my turbo as i wanted to use a normal lower radiator hose.
Works great.

Where can I get a new cylinder block? Will B230 block be the same and fit the forged parts?

what was wrong with the old pistons? how much for these new ones? are they the same old 8.7:1? or Euro 9.0?
