A few weeks ago the overdrive switched off on its own while I was on the highway. I was able to turn it back on, but it switched back off a few moments later. Since then the overdrive hasn't been working right. Sometimes it works fine and I can turn it off and on as needed without it letting go on its own, but most of the time it either doesn't turn on at all, or it lets go shortly after I manage to turn it on.
When it doesn't turn on, I can't feel the switch "click," and it seems to work more reliably during the day or when its warm(er) out, though I live in Florida, so it's always pretty warm.
The overdrive wasn't working at all when I first got the car ~2 years ago, but it was just a disconnected switch, and I was able to re-solder that pretty easily.
I checked the transmission fluid levels, and they were fine. Where should I go next in terms of troubleshooting?
