Default b18ft throttle position sensor

hi there, does anyone know what wires do what on the 6pin tps on the b18ft? im trying to wire the megasquirt to it but need to know what wires to use. thanks in advance for any help:D

What's a B18FT? And with a TPS as well? Do you mean B230FT?

Probably the newer B18 , from the 460/480 series......Not many people in here knowabout these cars , I guess they were never sold in the US ?

Yes the b18ft was in the 440 460 and 480 models and its the 1.7 turbo engine. I wondered if this TPS is used on other Volvo engines.

An Ohm metter should give you your answer, MS needs a 0.0v through 5.0v for the TPS reading.

It's a Renault engine, I don't think it shares any parts with any other Volvo engines.

there are other renault engines in volvos tho like the 340 uses the c1j from renault. so was hoping there would be other ones as well

If you dont find any numbers , try ebay.de . Theres a ****load of tps models listed for every Volvo named engine you can think of. Some show all the models they will fit

Just go by the Bosch number ?
