My first thought is that "oh no you're relying on just the bolts to hold the car up" and then I look at the single ball joint nut which is about the same size and is always in the exact same load configuration, so it's probably fine.

Also if you don't change the springs, the a-arm will be in the exact same orientation to the ground. Just lower.

IPD used to sell those for 240 wagons. I haven't seen it in their catalog for many years now.

Some of the 60's and 70's american wagons used to have those stock so you could roll down the rear window underway and not get carbon dioxide / monoxide poisoning.

I believe it was called a rear hatch spoiler. They said it would help keep the rear window clean. Plus it would look cool.
The word Rada used probably means dirt sweep or something like that I think. In the mid 80s our first Volvo was a 75 245DL.
