Heres an update on the missile

I did some bodywork.

This

Bolted to this inside trunk to distribute force

/\ on both sides

Hooked to this

Like this

On the other side I hooked to this

Fine tuned with this and an anchor that looks kinda like a thread in tow hook.

Now it looks like this, trunk space is back to it original glory.

and shot some flames out my stack.

Update, all hvac and underdash wiring is gone except for what it needs to run, plus pulled the front end a bit straighter. Just need to fix a leak, change oil and build a new rad support and its ready for a couple events this year.

why is it "cool" to have a beat to **** car lately? a missile is only a missile if you have a nice drift car as well. if you don't have a nice drift car, and you just have a missile car, you just have a ****ty car.

I think that strange logic is full of s***. I think a car gets defined by the owner's attitude towards it. Last year, I had a janky-ass 242 that I abused till it caught on fire. I called it a missile because that's exactly what it was to me. Now I've got a pair of 245's. One will have a license plate and one won't. The plated car will be nice because I want it to be. The other one will be a missile, because I want it to be.

Also lol @ the guy telling you you have to have a nice car in order to call it a missile when you do have a nice car hahaha. A few of them if memory serves.

You need to throw some 700lb/in springs on it in the rear and something decent up front then actually maybe perhaps be able to drift/transition/keep a few turns together with way less effort. Is the diff welded? i forget

I dragged home another 240, $350 maple donuts and it drove home under its own power.

360,000kms on the clock, cut springs and a stock exhaust chopped off at the axle and the smell of some happy herbs possibly stashed somewhere. This one has some rust too, mainly around the windshield and rockers. Also came with 6 rims and 8 meaty winter tires, 2 of which are studded.

Its going to get some hand downs from the lsx car, and I'm just going to set it up cheaply for oversteer and just drive it.

So beige will be parted fully and crushed after the next track day on the 22nd of june.

I had a few decent runs, not sure if there much footage but some is still leaking out. Rad hose blew and I fixed it with electrical tape and zipties to stop bulging.

There was a guy from Chiliwack there with a 7 series tearing it up real well.

Having a missile is a dam good way to get better at drifting. I actually went over to japan to do the Spring Matsuri at Ebisu, 3k for a 180sx that was drift ready and thrashed it for an entire week on 5 different courses. I can easily say i was a bad drifter before i got there, but once i left i was feeling pretty dam good about myself and my mates couldn't believe my progress.

Full points for what your doing, its better then building up a car and wrecking it at the first meet thats for dam sure. Try and throw a gopro inside your car so you can watch your hands, i find actually seeing what i was doing inside the car later really helped me improve plus my mates threw in some input which really really helped.

Last day of drifting and id like to think i was nailing it. Best bit starts from 6.40 or so.

Keep it up man, love to see people get out there and give it a real go.
