Question 93 240 runs and simply quits.......??? help?!?!

Ok so I have a 1993 240 Classic BF230 Auto.... 180 K ........

I have replaced the CPS and also put in new Fuel pump relay as this car runs and drives like new..........until it just quits....done !!!! No check engine light nothing!?!?!?

Checked the ignition module and put gel between it as it was almost gone.......

Car starts up runs great ...no miss or anything just perfect.............until......it just stops!!
So I have fuel.....I have spark .... AMM works....fuel pumps buzzing like a happy camper...
Seems like when it gets to temperature it just dies...like you shut of the ignition...(which I don t)

Has anybody else had this wonderful problem ???? I don t mind to go search until I find it.
However if anybody else had the same maybe one of you guys can point me in the right place???????

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Hm. I'll throw out some things. Bad LH or EZK?

Bad EGR? I like to throw out EGR.

Sounds like the issue is going to/from closed/open loop? Maybe go from there?

Bad/touchy ignition switch?

I had a bad ignition switch do that to me last year. All of a sudden it was 100% dead, and I was on the interstate at the time!

O2 and ECT are likely candidates, but this is all parts cannon recommendations. Download the complete LH2.4 manual and read it...

Check and clean the terminals for fuse #4 (counting down from the top) in the fuse panel beside the drivers left leg.
Also check the 25A blade type fuse and it's holder that's located under the hood on the left fender.
It sits behind the battery and has a red wire from the battery positive that feeds it.
Follow the wire to find the fuse.

hope this helps

Ok guys your input has helped ,thanks for all the replies!! I checked main fuses and checked the ignition switch.
Also checked o2 it s a non egr 240 and found no issues even checked the AMM with another unit that I had and no difference!

Also put gel between the power-stage and made no difference......
I just went and got a new bosch power-stage and problem is fixed!!!!!!!

Thanks for all your input !!!

Note taken on the power-stage...

I should probably do my research and figure out what that thing is actually used for.
