89 Volvo LM7 engine swap Drift Project

Ok, tried your suggestion and adjusted the hood as far forward as possible, it still hits it, but if I elonggate the hinge hole a touch more, it should clear.

weird, mine cleared just fine. post more pics! this is P&r, part of showroom, not a story telling session!

Its clearing now, just had to adjust the hinges alot, and a little message with the flapwheel.

looks good, but the side skirt has to go, atleast prep under it and have the car painted with them off, install them again later if you so desire.

Thanks,

The rocker is undercoated and painted black underneath, I hate the look of the bare rockers, so i'm gunna leave them on for now, if I disslike it when I'm done, I would put the stock trim back on, long term is to find something actually made for the car. I should have lots of spare paint. A new front lip or the one from last year is planned to, kinda sick of last years though.

did you drill holes in the rockers to mount that skirt? i hope not. or did you use the stock trim holes? eather way the car seems to be coming along nicely! i like how your posting more pictures!

not for volvo's, should just drilled the skirt to match the factory holes. there are already 1.6 million of them lol.

haha sorry, sounds funnier in person, but the hole count is nearly 9 million now, I dislike how the rocker is offset slightly from the rest of the body, and only look good covered up, so I am not really concerned about a couple more holes, and I'm doing everything I can to prevent any rust.

Is that on the new coilovers or have you not put em on yet? Looks good, id like to see it with your front bumper/lip and the sideskirts.

Thats with the front short struts in and the cut rear springs, I'll get the rear springs and purches in when the paints done. Sideskirts look awkward with the car all apart obviously haha.

Thanks

Here it is, its alot better then the clearcoat peeling red and flat black it was, but a crappy enough paint job that I wont cry if it gets bruised haha. Never painting a car again, not a keeper type car atleast.

The pics make it look alot better haha
