A Fix To Stalling Problem

I was reading up in a Volvo Service Bulletin book dated January 1994. I found that for 1985 -1987 700s B230F & 1985-1989 700s B230FT Automatics Only, there is a cold start condition that causes stalling immediately after starting if it is subject to load.
The fix for this problem involves a service kit (Part Number: 3531106-7) This kit increases the coolant temp. sensor NTC (negative temp. coefficient) voltage by .5V (at 59degrees F, 15 degrees C). This causes the LG MFI control module to sense coolant temperature to be approximately 18degrees F lower than it actually is, resulting in an increased choke factor.

Whether of not this part is still available, I am not sure, but I thought this might help those who are having cold start problems or needed a little extra fuel for some added performance.

Talk about digging up an old thread......I have one of these kits NOS if anyone is interested.

hmm, i believe this might relate to an issue a little while back reguarding a very cold morning. When I went to start it (even though 3 days earlyer it was fine when slightly warmer) and it stalled somehow blowing the timing belt off. It ended up into a big ordeal, but maybe this kit is something I should consider

Does anyone have a copy of the bulletin?

Here's a link to the bulletin.

I'd like to know what that part is.
