so this past weekend we all met up at Jareds (propav8r) house in franklin, nc to begin mountain meet. it was a weekend of waffles, cuddle house, dragon, dams, volvos, german cars, fiddies, and good ole times. I had a great time yall and look forward to coming out there again!

I just wanted to say "thank you" to everyone for coming. I had a blast, and I hope everyone else did. It was great seeing old friends and meeting new people. We even got through the whole weekend without anyone's car breaking down! The C30 guys weren't so lucky...someone wadded their car up pretty bad.

We'll definitely do this again next year. Keep an eye on the Events section...I'm going to put up a thread soon to get a deposit together for the Lodge.

Everyone is fine. Brian missed a turn at an unknown speed. Joeri (who flew in from Belgium for this trip) was riding shotgun. They went straight off the road head on into a rock cliff face, the car launched upwards, spun twice with the nose in the air, then landed on its roof. Both driver and passenger walked away only feeling a little sore today. Another amazing testament to Volvo safety and another reason to stress never driving beyond your comfort level. Aside from front end damage, the rest of the car looked unharmed. Windows only busted out when the tow truck flipped it over.

I see you found Ellijay. I used to drive that every day when I lived in Cullowhee and worked in Franklin.

F yeah! Looks beautiful! I wanna get out of the desert.

I was kicking it with about a dozen tbrickers yesterday at SocalEuro. Nothing but asphalt and VeeDubs for days....

The mountains look wonderful! Getting ready for snowboarding season out West here!
