My '85 240 distributor hall sensor (i think?) has been causing an intermittent problem where the engine will die, or fail to start while cranking normally. I just put a new engine wiring harness in today and the problem persists. My question is if I should replace the entire distributor or if replacing just the ignition pickup would be sufficient?
