940 1993 945 AMM issue and boost issue.

So my 940 has this issue where, when I rev it up, it stops and hesitates under 2k rpm (I'm still pressing farther on the pedal) then when I have gotten far enough it jumps up to around 2400 rpm and from there it revs up fine.

Well, I unplugged my AMM and now it just runs ****ty, but I can hit 2k rpm!

So, any reason why it might do this or is this thing just dead?

is your amm to turbo hose soft? it could be collapsing

Could that cause it to only be ****ed up around low rpm though? I'll see if I can get a video of it.

thats when the system first has high amounts of suction whilst it builds boost.
