Default Another 164 question thread

Ok, even though I own a 73 164, the service manual does not show the electric part attached with the idle adjustment screw. The 75 164 service manual has a picture of the electric part but does not identify it. On page 2:32, figure 2-72 you will see on top of the idle adjustment screw you will see an electric component that has two wires attached. What part is this and can provide a part number? Thanks.

It's an idle up solenoid for the air conditioner. I believe the part number is 1266026.

I'm not sure about that part number. It's not in the 164 parts catalog. It's for B20, B21 and B27 engines.

There are 2 different solenoid valves listed for 164, 460282 & 460532 but they look like they're for carb'd cars.
