Here it is, safe 'n' sound. Snatched from the clutches of the scrappers that were circling it. It turns out that just removing the fuse from the alarm system lets the alarm go in to a default state that allows the car to work properly. As soon as I got it home and connected the battery, it started right up. It definitely needs a tune up. I replaced the leaky radiator with one from a parts car I had and took it to the car wash and got it all cleaned up. It is now at the detail shop I use for all my cars I resell. It will be done in the next few days and I'll post up the after shots. Anyone interested in owning an early production 780?

It's an early 87. Live axle, PRV powered, 196K miles. The interior is the gray/black 2-tone leather. I'll post up picks of the whole car when I get it back from detailing. I just shot these three when I got back from the car wash. The body on this 780 is incredibly straight and all original. The gas door is so faded because it was replaced with a white gas door that was refinished in lacquer. That is the only sign of any paint work ever done on this car. The price is going to depend on how far I take it. I would rather just unload it to someone that wants to fix it up them self.

I know I don't need it...must resist...but it would look so so good next to my red 745...oh must resist. Love the color.

I want to get one some day. Would be a great car to Plasti dip;)

What the hell are people referring to when they say "Plasti-dip it"?

I know what Plastidip is, but I can never figure out what people on this site are talking about when they use this phrase. I guess it has some other meaning. Just doesn't make any sense to me.

Sorry. I'm an old fool.

People are actually painting their cars with that sh*t.
