Unkinking aluminum evaporator pipe

I am in the process of upgrading my a/c to use a late 240 style evaporator and have discovered that the larger pipe has had shocking kind on it preventing any flow. I really don't know how this has happened if I bought it like this or occurred when removing the fitting that was stuck on.

I am wondering if there is a way to resurrect it or the Evap is useless. see pic

cheers.

yeah I figured. was not me I swear... we actually did have a spanner on the other side using the ground as leverage. the fitting was rusted on so we used an impact gun :/
