Default mystery switch/wire on dash

second of my two questions for the board today...

240 has mystery add-in switch on the dash to left of AC switch. I thought maybe it was for jet boost, but so far nothing seems to happen when I throw it.

I noticed that it has a yellow wire hooked into it, and I also noticed that under the hood at the very edge on the drivers side by the firewall is a funny accordion tube that has a single yellow wire coming out of it and running to a relay that is mounted just fore of the ignition coil. This mystery yellow wire has clearly been spliced into the gray wire entering that relay.

My hunch is that that mystery switch has something to do with this relay. The car does have AC, and the AC switch functions to turn on the AC compression, which still works (but with some loud complaints).

Does anyone have a theory about the function of this switch?

thanks

That sounds like the fog light wiring and relay. But the witch should have 3 or 4 prongs if it is

Sounds like you are going to have to trace the wire to see what it does.
