Default Advice about saving an old brick.

Hi guys. I've recently saved a 1978 242DL from it's resting place since 2001. Rusted brakes, flat tires and sunk to the floorpan from too many Alaskan seasons. It runs and the auto trans works. I've driven it a bit and it's sloppy. 216,000 miles. Please tell me how you would decide whether or not this is a keeper. I haven't yet done any research on parts, but I'm assuming the wear items are all out there somewhere. The body is straight, with rust showing here and there in the corners, but it doesn't seem too bad. This would be a mild/running restoration. I don't need the car but it looks like it could be a fun hobby.

Thanks for any input you may have to share.

These things take time and money. If you have both to spare then take a shot. GL!

For me it would depend on how bad the rust is. Being sunk up to the floorpan would make me nervous.

Suspension wear items are fairly cheap and easily available.

You have to upload them to a place like flickr or imgur and then post the link here.
