Does anybody know if a 1041 pumpkin be a direct drop into my 245 with a 1030 rear end?
I don't even know what gear ratio is in my 1990 245 M47/B230E. I'm guessing it's either a 3.73 or a 3.54. But then, I've read that there are 3.54 "and down" pumpkins, and 3.54 "and up" pumpkins.
If I were to drop in a 3.73 1041, will it bolt up to the axles and everything else that is already on the 240? Who has done this before? This has to be a popular swap, I guess, if only for the benefits of the G80 locker...
