So. This came into the shop today. Client was looking to rebuild due to lack of boost, and no power on an Audi 1.8T. Whats wrong with this picture?


Said he never heard anything go south, but stevie wonder could see that the swing valve has left the building, and the flapper is up against the cat converter honeycomb. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Random turbo humor for the day.....
 
its a myster lol....

Nut was never found, turbine shaft is sheared in thirds, exhaust wheel looks like a dry carnation, all mangled.

This turbo died violently. LOL:rofl:
