The 240 Weight Thread (Common Part Comparison)

In an effort to make a common thread for everyone that wants to find out what parts weigh on their 240?s I am going to try and compile a list of common 240 parts with their weights. This way we will have a thread to turn to if we want to do some weight reduction.

I want to include body parts, wheels, interior parts, suspension parts, drivetrain, ect.

I am on a weight reduction spree so I figured I would give it a shot.

If you have weighed individual parts please post up. Do not post up with all your mods and what your car weighs. I will try to keep the first thread updated as people add parts.

There's 3 different PS pumps and 2 different AC systems.

nice! but whos gonna convert all that to standard? im a lazy murcan

2.2 lb= kilogram so kilo is easy to convert. Most parts, most will remove are listed as kilogram weight.

'78 242 wiring harness, 12 pounds (mostly complete, missing a few pieces here and there)

That 15kq difference between M46 and M47 makes a world when you're dropping the trans, recently pulled M46...Sweet Jesus that is one heavy bastard!!!

Radiator is 11 pounds (per the one I just scrapped).
