I purchased this 1993 940 last night up in Seattle Washington it was quite the adventure i left Vancouver WA at 6:00pm didn't get home until 2:30am. Ill be keeping track of everything i do with the car in this thread. If anyone has fallowed my other threads, you know i do extensive modification in an attempt to fully personalize my car.

I have many things on the to do list already, mainly i want to improve the reliability of the car. I want to hop in it in the morning knowing it will take me anywhere i need to go and have confidence in its ability to do so. Then i want it to do that comfortably. Finally i want it to do that fast and fun.

I will be shooting for about 250whp in this car, a good stereo, clean interior, great handling characteristics, and good looks.

So you're the one that picked this car up? Nice score, looks great, looking forward to updates!

I would suggest e-codes as the first mod following the extensive stage zero I mentioned yesterday. Good score dude!

Jerd, How do you get away with working on the car at the apts? Or do you even work on them there? Lol

I don't, I drive 3 miles to work or I hit up friends to use their driveway/garage/shop etc. it's kinda sucky because it leaves me feeling rushed to get it back together so I can drive home. I'd love to have a garage of my own but I don't let not having one stop me.

This. Hate that feeling. Would much rather leave my car in pieces for the amount of time I so desire.

Need any part time shop grunts? Lol
I'm new in Portland, a loaner, no friends. :-P But my family keeps me busy enough. :omg:

Oh yeah, almost forgot, slick ride sir!

I hate to be a negative Nancy but the j pipe will most likely hit the motor mount a and cross member.

Car looks great. Gotta love red 944s

Lol... at my college apartment complex I helped with three motor swaps. Two of them we just took one engine out and put the other in. Both were crappy 240sxs. The other was a bronco which we pulled out, dropped into a pickup bed drove, drove around back through the grass, and dropped it off at the porch where we re sealed the whole thing. ...oh college... where brains are rarely used.

Nice car!

Looks like someone's warmed up to the grandpa series. I wonder why. Actually I know why. It's my fault :-P
