I have the opportunity to get 4 25mm 5x108 spacers really cheap along with some 17" steel rims and Volvo original hub caps.

I think my black Hydras w/o hub caps and 25mm spacers would look nice :)

I will post some pics once i picked them up in Bielefeld (if that town even exists) later this weekend!

I got the wheels:

I will have to repaint them and get some new bolts.

Ok, so the following problem(s) showed up yesterday:

Symptomes:

- Manometer on fuel rail shows varying fuel pressure.
- Idle is varying, but not rough.
- LOUD main fuel pump.
- Weird sound (like there is air mixed in the fuel) when under load.
- No change when under load. Excellerating like normal.

My suspects:

- Air in fuel system (in tank hose, bad seal)
- Bad fuel filter (I'll have to change it anyway)
- Bad FPR (had that once with the EXACT same symptomes)

What I checked:

- Took out the pre-pump and checked for a leak in the small tube. There was no hole what so ever and the rubber felt like new. The filter sock was clean.
- Visually inspected all the fuel lines. One injector was leaking on the fuel rail seal!

Actions:

At first I'll be changing out the injector O-Rings. Im not going to keep that fire hazard! Maybe that will fix the fuel pressure problem... (MadDog doesnt think so...)

I did a silly and not usefull mod to my car this weekend:

Did this just to mess with the VW Polo tuners in my area...

I put a solenoid valve into the vacuum tube leading to the CBV.
Now I can trigger the "Stututu" flutter sound whenever I want with a flick of a switch :-D Without having to deal with the negative effects of having no CBV.

Atm I can only activate it when on boost because otherwise the vacuum is trapped inside the cbv and it just stays open. Maybe I'll add a one-way-valve in the future...

Together with my K&N Cone filter and metal piping it makes a pretty sweet sound.

I've been driving around without a shifter boot/cover for a while now and the accumulating dirt annoyed me.

All the boots I could find were disgusting and stinky tho :-D

So on this rainy day I made my own.

I think the color matches my seats quite well.
