Default Any 240s have a starter bracket?

The green book lists a starter bracket but my 82 turbo is missing it. I had another 82 and don't recall one on it either. Is this bracket common on the 240s?

Recently took the starter off my '81, no bracket. I was expecting there to be one (based on the book), guess I should expect there to be one on my '80 from the sounds of it, if/when I ever need to remove it.

It looks it. The intermediate shaft is below that hump. Looks 76-79, along with the engine mount

Are you sure, cause where the breather box is suppose to be theres two bolts and on the OHV engine the distributor is on the backside and arent those single bolt to keep them in place?

I could be wrong...
