Default What can be done....

to increase Cold Air to the airbox. 940 turbo. In theory, it seems to me an inexpensive increase in performance is to get more Cold Air to the airbox, so, why not open it it some more? Wondering... what people did to increase the air flow. Air Holes? Remove snorkle?

first step is to get rid of the sound deadening and foam inside.

step 2: there is an insert in the hole that goes to the fender.

taking out this insert makes the hole bigger.

step 3: i dont know, the bottom of the box comes off with two torx, but i think my car is hapier with the bottom on.

you could cut a hole in the bottom. and in your cars sheetmetal and run a hose to suck out of engine compartiment air.
