Well i have been through 7 dana 30's so far in this car.
This Borgy will last for years and years untouched, as ive said before there are 8 second VL commodores with 800hp using these diffs without drama.

Maybe, or just the beginning of a nice plenum/intake

that looks like the remainder of a b230 intake manifold to me. i vote for Individual Throttle Bodies because that would be soooo cool.

ITBs on a forced induction car would be kinda pointless, although I would assume it would give a little more low end grunt and probably spool the turbo a little quicker.

Exactly, thats why im using a big single XF throttle body. The TB will be at the front, having very short intercooler piping. Still undecided if i will use a round or square sheet plenum, or a combination of the two.

Standard B230 manifold, cut with the bandsaw, then milled flat.

Sweet, can't wait to see how yours turns out! Using square or round stock is a lot easier than hand forming which is the route i went with mine.If you blend both together it would be really neat. How thick of material are you using?

i think its 2.4mm material, but im not 100% sure.
Its next size up from what we make the intercooler tanks with.

This is gonna be insane.

You should post some exterior pics in your thread as well. I have to go through thousands of pictures of your aussie cruise just to get a glimpse of that awesome paint.

yeah of course its a Daily driver! whats the point of building a car if you dont use it?

I do around 20,000km a year on it.
It gets really good economy too, if you drive it like the rest of the traffic. Around 450km on 50L.

Just a quick question. Is that block a b23ft or b230ft as the distributor is in the block as opposed to the back of the head on b230's and the old manifold and turbo looked b23ft. I got to say though the car is a glamour and it's a real credit to you!!!

Not true. B230 engines fitted in 740s have head mounted dist. B230 engines in 240s still have block mounted dist.

There is no problem in using a 740T as a donor for a 240, in most cases you can plug the back of the head and drop the dist into the hole in the block after removing the welsh plug.
You may need to fit the intermediate shaft to drive the dist though, but I have seen some ex740T B230FT engines already with the intermediate shaft fitted.

Fuel econmomy is really good too, getting around 450km on 48 litres when driving like everyone else does. But when you give it a hit, whoa, it sucks the fuel away.
680cc injectors runnning at 75-80% at 20psi on 6000rpm.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the answer to this somewhere, but is the paint a Volvo colour?

Well whatever it is, I like it a lot. I'm thinking about something similar on a 140.
