Question Side-draft or multi carbs?

Are there any side-draft carburetors or multi carb setups out there for a B230F engine? I'm looking for something that will bolt up or minimal modifications. Any of the jap motorcycle carbs work? The engine will end up in a 1910 speedster, so reliability is a must! As the build progresses I will post pictures, to show what I'm doing, in case anyone wants to build something a little different for a hot rod.

It's not that hard to track down DCOE manifolds for OHV 8V heads.

yes it is, and they cos 400 new with linkage, nothing is bolt on, i thought it would be. im in the middle of a dcoe build with kgtrimming mani's and the manifolds are a pan to fit, they block every sensor so the mani' have to be trimmed, you have to remove a few studs in the head and you allens because the studs hit the runners. PITA and the linkage is not readily avalible you have to make you own to connect the two carbs together, you have to figure yoy how to lower the ressure safly and what to do with the exes pressure. get a 200 dollar regulator with a return. deffinetly alot more work than i expected. also there is alot of jetting but thats to be expected. when you do somthing like thi sit always seems as if nothing ever fits right and you ahev to remake it all over agin. o well it will be sweet when its done!

new, proper fuel pump is less than $50 and a proper regulator is less than $40

You could always try Marine! Both side drafts and down drafts were fitted. Down drafts were more popular. I recomend getting a complete set. Carbs are plentiful, manifolds are rare. They will bolt straight up with no mods. BTW most are twins although single cards are around aswell.

Or just replace the fuel pump with something like a Holley that puts out a carb-ey fuel pressure.

combined with the fuel pressure of the intank pump you should still use a rgulator with a return. webers take 2-4 psi to opperate. the intank pumps out about 10psi combined with another pump like a holley for a carb it will be a little higher.

Look at My B250 with 4 Mikuni moto carbs . Its really simple.
I bought this car readymade in sweden but rebuild it 3 times. Those carbs are really smart and user friendly.

Nice set up LLiric. Is it hard to tune?

I recall vperformance use these with their supercharger set up for B20's.

It costs for me USD 50 per season to tune them in motorcycle workshop, even not to tune, but clean and grease.
there are nothing to tune - very simple and smart system.....

if you will try to install used set from motorcycle - there are some fine tuning possibilities, but in my system ( most probably it build by A.R.C) you cannot find chock, individual throttle positioning and other "useless" things
