Its worlds better. It actually idles at a rock solid 800rpm now. Always sounded like it had biggie cams in it before.

I've taken Josh's PW down to 750us on MS3. Good times.

I'm assuming you're running sequential fueling? I assume my car would idle better if I could run a lower pulsewidth and sequential, of course.

How does that even open the injectors at all? I thought minimum open times were much higher than that typically.

I have accurate latency data and short-pulse figures, both of which I can map in MS3. Obviously fuel control is not going to be rock solid down that low, but it gives me enough control that I can make them behave *just* well enough to do what I need to do.

Very cool, the first reason I have seen that makes me want to pick up and ms3 card.

So, these are the same old MS injector driver circuits so this is purely an improvement in the software?

What injectors? Are they anything special with ultra quick opening speeds?

The driver circuits are the same as the microsquirt drivers.

Josh's injectors are the Furd 1600cc blue tops. Not very well known for their linearity at lower pulsewidths. Quite a few people badmouth them for that reason. They work well enough for what we are using them for.

NUKE Performace is a prime example for a fawking good marketing strategy..

It's blue and from metal which looks aw3some.. it IS but has no blingbling cause of its matte design.. it has a very special name what makes it to a "the cool kids have" article... OH ! not forget to mention that its double the price of parts which do exactly the same instead of being blue

hehe... but yeah... MSD ignition coils are cool too.. ;)

Ah, but JV doesn't use a Deutsch keyboard. Sometimes Svensk it seems. So he would type qwerty instead of qwertz.

(I think 'y' and 'z' are the only differently placed letter keys between English & German )

No. German KB sucks, English doesn't. Makes a huge difference.

" / ' + _ ? are all different and more.

Bought a German keyboard last year and never thought about the QWERTZ. We use US keyboards here.

I think the Dana 30 assembly is stronger than people seem to think. The only reason I would change is for better diff options. As in OS Geiken.

I saw the damage to Bergens splines. Nice and twisted. He was moments from being fully splineless. The Dana 30 really is not that strong but Josh probably gets away with it by NOT doing clutch dumps with slicks, and his car is stripped down weight wise. If I ran slicks, and Josh's power in my 245, I probably would smoke my rear axle splines and not the tires.

Dead G80 #1 autopsy pics

I stuck another junkyard fresh one in and welded the weight, we will see how long it puts up with me. I have some ideas to make them a little better for my usage. I need to acquire some more g80 bits and pieces to start the experiments. Should be good times.

Jesse, when you broke your axles what diff were you running?

only axle I've broken (so far) has been in rob's 242. Side stepping the clutch at 5k with a 75 shot on slicks did nothing but break the t5. Wonder if the locker/welded diff setup has something to do with this.
