Default A Little Post-iPD Update

So the locals probably saw the car in the iPD parking lot this weekend, but here a few pics anyway.

I just want to show a couple shots that have been taken since I purchased the car:

Edit: ...holy crap. Just realized I've only had the car for three and a half months. Ridiculous. I know you could get all this done quicker, but it is my daily driver after all.

January 31st:

February 14th:

February 17th (Issaquah XXX Root Beer Meet):

March 9th (V Shop/RSI Cruise, Meet, and BBQ):

April 14th (Back to Virgos for a couple days):

aaaaaaaaaandddd, today:

While the last few months have been spent modding the car to hell in the places you can't see, the last week was spent finishing the exterior for the iPD meet. Tint, CF hood, Group A Wing, claybar/buff/wax, paint trim and bumpers, etc etc. You can't tell in the pictures how much better the paint is than when I got it.

Anyway, just wanted to share some pics Oh, and to make sure nobody thinks she's all show, here's the quick mod list:

Engine/Transmission/Drivetrain
SCP 398 (Ported by RSI)
Cometic MLS Gasket
B230 Intake Manifold
Intercooler (lol, since it was non-intercooled. NPR is waiting to go in.)
"Custom" exhaust (temporary, but flows okay for now)
iPD Turbo Cam
RSI Adjustable Cam Gear
Forge Motorsports UNOS Boost Controller @ 18 PSI
Ignition Timing @ 18 degrees
RSI Stage 1 Poly Motor Mounts
(and no, it doesn't ping )

World Class T5
6-puck Clutchnet Clutch
Clutchnet Pressure Plate
Lightened Flywheel

Limited Slip Diff

Suspension/Brakes
Cut Springs in the front / Stock Bilstein HDs in the front (Shortened coilovers and revalved bilsteins in the works)
RSI Adjustable Spring Perches + 275 lb springs in the rear / Suburban Bilsteins in rear
iPD Adjustable Panhard Rod
iPD Adjustable Torque Rods
Stainless Steel Brake Lines (Fronts will go in with the coilovers)
Most poly bushings (eventually will be all)

...I think that's everything, though Im probably forgetting something. Anyway, lots more is in the works.

Thanks for looking.

I must say the car is looking great! For sure on my top 3 favs for the whole show. It was a perfect weekend, and I really enjoyed getting more in person time with you and all the other T-brickers that were able to make it to IPD.
Kudos on your quick work... Keep it up!

sweeeeeeeeet. car looks GREAT! pictures are awesome, as always! the only thing that bugs me is the hood fit, it looks to be bowed down in front slightly, rising on the passenger side. do you think using hood pins would even it out? did you have the grill or insta find one because you are on the coast? lucky!

Get rid of the chrome on the front end, or better yet get some e-codes. Otherwise it looks hot.

Yeah he got the hood when he was rolling his silver 245 turbo wagon I beleive, maybe ~ 1.5 - 2 years ago? It was in a little fender bender but the hood made it out still reusable.

Very nice!

Do you need a tow hook cover? I think I might be able to dig one out of the parts bin.

Very nice! I love white 240s, of any variety. All the black and carbon accents just set it off wonderfully! Of course, the fact that you take amazing pictures doesn't hurt either. Keep up the good work!

It's just pretty good condition blue cloth turbo interior. Nothing special right at the moment.

The hood was in an accident as holtzboy said, you an see how badly it was 'bent' in this picture. I'm working on getting it to fit better, but it's just that - a work in progress.

Anyway, hood pins would likely bring the passenger side down correctly, but I don't want to dirty up such a decent hood. I couldn't touch this thing with a drill if I wanted to. The hood fitment will be worked out in due time.

I bought another flathood car that had the grill and I've had it for a while. The grill was also in an accident so the chrome isn't in the greatest shape, but oh well.

Better yet, I'll stick to my own personal opinion . I like the four squares, so I'm not switching to e-codes. As for blacking out, I'm usually the first one to ditch chrome, but I almost kind of like it with the CF hood. I haven't decided yet.

Thanks for the offer Don, but I do have the tow hook cover. I took it off when I painted the front lip body color, and didn't get around to painting the cover. Anyway, I sort of like it without the cover.
