Default Norcal- Half Moon Bay Mexican food & drive day, November 22nd

So here's the deal - there have not been many meets lately [gas prices?] but why not have a good one?

There is this killer Mexican food dive called El Gran in Moss Beach. Okay so its a little north of Half Moon Bay but you get the idea. The food is really damn good and there is a ton of parking.

El Gran Amigo Taqueria
2448 Cabrillo Hwy
Moss Beach, CA 94038

Date - Saturday, November 22nd
Time - 2pm?

I suggest we meet up there at 2 pm to grab some grub. Eat and whatnot, check out cars for like an hour or so? And than whenever everyone is ready, go for a drive down HWY 1 south, than take HWY 84 eastbound towards HWY35/Skyline. From Skyline everyone can split up take separate groups on separate fun drives to get back to where you need to go [north Skyline to get back to SF/upper peninsula, south Skyline to south bay folks, or stay on 84 for part of the Peninsula and probably the best way for those headed back more inland like Modesto/Sac].

And in the spirit of it not being at Hooters, get off your asses and try to bring a lady friend if you already did not plan on it. And if a girl does not like nice drives along the beach and good Mexican food IMHO she probably is not worth the time

If anyone has any additional ideas [chill at a beach further down HWY 1 before/after?] let them out.

This should be a great time so get your schedule/stomach and cars ready! This will be the last time I'll have the ES at a meet before I put it under the knife.

Hmm, November huh? I just might have the motor in by then. It'll probably be living off-boost or low-boost since it'll be getting broken in, but I may be in for this. Gwen's probably got the day off as well, so she might be around, and she loves the drives down that way.

This sounds like a fun day/drive for me to get back into the TB loop(as i have been M.I.A. for awhile) but..........I will be in Vegas for my b-day. Jesus east christ there is always something that keeps me from the meets.

Strippers and booze > Mexican food gas and volvo guys. lol Vegas wins.

Me and the lady will probably be able to make it. Depends on what we're doing for her b-day though.

I've got to change the in-tank pump on my rig, so if that happens I'll probably be there..... But ONLY if someone brings the Sierra Nevada sausagefest brew. Pat? I'm sure you can handle that task??
