Default Junkyard gauges

So I'm building a new dash for the 242 and getting rid of the stock cluster. I'll be using a large center tach and smaller spedo off to the side. For the rest of the gauges I'll be using smaller 2 1/16. I have a VDO boost & Volt gauge. I'm in search of fuel level, water temp, oil pressure, and oil temp. I know some 80s VW's came w/ VDO oil pressure and temp. gauges that I can use. Are there other cars that you guys know of that have these acessory gauges in the right size w/ senders that will work on our 4cyls?

Any 240 Turbo will have oil pressure. Some 240s came with oil temp accessory gauges. Porsches, Volvos, Audis, and VWs from the 80s should all have 52mm VDO gauges with similar faces and identical guts.

I don't know about junkyards but eBay seems to be a good place to get them. I see tons of Porsche VDO gauges with yellow lettering like the old R-Sport gauges. And they seem to sell for cheap too...

Thanks, I forgot about the Porsche gauges. Would a 4 cyl tach from a 914 work? Do the Volvo senders work w/ these other VDO gauges? I actually just found a Volvo oil temp gauge in a box of parts but no sender. What sender does it need?
