Default I'm trying, guys....

Yay, small progrss on the wagon. I am doing intercooler piping and system/fuel pupm relay wiring tonight.

Small progress, but better than nothing. I am getting some real motivation back to finish this thing i think.

Ha yeah I was going to say that, it's because the sense of scale is throwing you off-the turbo has a 4" inlet and the header primaries are 1.9" od.

Dude you asked the $64,000 question.

The answer is that I'm going to do my best, it's certainly not out of the question.

Well done! Do you need the deep drop swaybar for the 6cyl? I should really know this by now, but it's hard to tell for sure from that picture. *fake edit* looking at my saved pictures it looks like everyone with a 240/6cyl has the deep drop bar.

definitely, looking awesome.

i would love some hard ic pipes, all my bends are silicone :(

also, did you lock that exhaust gear? i have finally got a good working solution for the vvt control in megasquirt and it's shocking the difference it makes in the pedal, up top in particular (as compared with leaving it unplugged so fully retarded all of the time of course). let me know if you want more details, if you feel like trying this approach
i've been tuning it these last couple of days and the results have seriously blown me away.

the oil filter and the feature on the pan's bottom where the pickup tube has that 90 degreeish bend both get in the way with the stock bar, it could probably be done otherwise if the engine were mounted a couple of centimeters forward but since the ipd bars are cheap enough ...

Thanks dudes- I traded my stock ipd bar for that one with a buddy- just traded me sraight across. At that time I didn't know if I would need it for the swap or not, and they're hard to get, so I figured better safe than sorry. A stocker would probably clear though.

Brett (grandma), haha you know how bad I am at estimating project ETA's.

Kildea,

I haven't welded it yet, probably becuase I didn't want to disable it completely unless I really had to.

I will keep that in mind (I will be driving you insane with questions very soon LOL!) I don't know what I have for sapre outputs at the moment as I'm set up for sequential spark. I might change it to wasted though.

BTW, are you using the stock T6 coolant temp sensor that's screwed into the tstat housing in the front of the motor?

Dieselboy,

If you wear tig gloves and long sleeves, it should be pretty hard to shock yourself. If you find you're getting shock with sleeves and gloves, and it's not becuase you are touching the filler to the tungsten, you probably beed a new torch/cables as high frequency is "leaking" out.

I can't really do the other ic pipe yet, i need some silicone adapters (friggin' 3.5" throttle body! ). I will carry on with wiring tonight. Soon I will be able to get the interior back in! That will be huge!
