I think it's better original.

I think the darker ones go with your car, but....no matter what you do, get some caps.

Ok, now that I've seen it, I have to agree with the current majority that the original lighter color looks best ... on a black car at least. Maybe the charcoal or graphite color works best with light body color cars instead.

But just to make sure, I asked my wife who's not into cars at all, and she says "it looks dirty". Then I asked my teenage son, who is into muscles cars not rice cars, and he says "it doesn't look right".

However, just a thought here ... what would the darker rims looks like if they had a polished lip and black instead of charcoal on the spokes and centres ... plus with smoke headlight covers (does GTS make them for your car ... they do for the '89 and older 4 eyed version) and tinted fogs as well? Can that be easily done in Photoshop?

Hey, and some tinted license plate covers as well too (you just can't go too dark without running into problems with the police).

if you polished the rims it could work well. just have to try and see i guess..

look at it this way if you polish the lip and dont like it keep going and repaint em a lighter color
