Default 940 1jz/2jz swap

Hello im new in the forum and from sweden so please excuse my spelling
I have been in thailand 2 times and going for my third in october.
I noticed that i it was very common to do a 1jz/2jz swap in volvos there and was wondering if someone had some info about the rebuild, whats needed, are there any kits/parts for sale?

Sweden says hello

It's unlikely there are kits; because you'd be replacing the whole engine & gearbox & electrics it's basically going to be a matter of taking an entire "module" out and replacing it with another entire "module". You'd be mostly up for a lot of mounts, a modified tailshaft, intake tubing, exhaust, some wiring splicing/adapting, and I guess if the shifter was in the wrong spot you might strike some problems there.

'Cos most of the cost is time/labour, and that's pretty cheap in Thailand, my guess is it isn't done with kits.

look up info on the s90R, it is an orange s90 in sweden, the guy originally was using a 6cyl whiteblock, and decided it wasnt enough and installed a 2jz.

edit: i was close, he is in norway. here is the thread.\
