holy schnaps. how much did you pay for that? nice find. i love the quad lights and the snub nose. much more than the flat hoods too. just some polishing and some elbow grease and that thing should be awesome.

how are you going to get 3L out of a b230? also, why?2.3/2.5 should be big enough to keep it's strength for lots of boost...

If your going to make it a two door you need to go get a set of coupe doors and move the B (right?) pillar back and get some custom glass for the sides. that way it looks right.

Me, I just love the "Baby On Board" sign combined with the front-end damage - over/under on that being caused by inattentive driving?

Anyway, I've got high hopes for this. It'll be a helluva track car.

badvlvo -
The stock rear sway is worthless. Only the front, at 23mm (or is it 21mm?), is worth anything.

So how do you guys like my custom front end? It's the only one of its kind.

Well, it's not exactly one of a kind. I had a very similar custom front end setup on my 245 as well.

But, I decided to go somewhat stock in look, and now have this:

However, the spoiler is now silver, so it looks even more stockish, but 1980 GT stock.

Man, that's gonna be a trick. 3 liter b230, huh? Might have to go to the square piston mod to get that. If you bore it that big, the holes are gonna overlap.

If the car was in the Olympia, WA area when it got hit, probably. Mine was hit when the PO was driving it. Truck crossed the road without looking to see that there was a car driving. PO t-boned the rear tire of the truck @ 30 mph.

Thanks. It's coming along pretty decently. Still need to have the driver's side frame rail pulled downward a little, so the car stops sneering, but once it's done, it'll be like my old silver 242, but with the silver grille, instead of the black DL fog lamp grille depicted in one of the pics. I also added a pic of the other side of the car, taken last weekend.
