Default 1/8 @ Qualcom, San Diego

July 23rd is another Qualcom Friday night 1/8 mile drag. I going (my first time drag racing period) and just wanted to know if anyone else was interested. It's in San Diego...I think around 6 pm or so. It'd be cool to have a few turbo V's out there.

damn .. i'd love to go .. but i don't have 4/th gear so that's a bit of a long drive @ 60mph from me

maybe next time .. i was going to try a plan a dig LA/SD guy meet where we go to the drags one day and hit up the junkyards the next

but dont' worry about the first time thing ... first run just romp on the gas when the 2nd amber goes out .. and then all runs after that test power braking it and going when the 2nd amber goes off

is the track still setup where 4 people race? or still going up hill @ the end?

I'm not too sure how it's set up....been awhile since I've been. I've been power braking all kinds to practice launching.......so easy to break the right rear tire loose! I'll have video to post....should be interesting.
