Default Dual Gauge Pod on 740

Does anyone know about where a dual gauge pod can be acquired to fit a 740? Ipd only makes a single, and it's very pricey. I heard people have adapted civic pods to fit. Anyone know anything about it?

I've seen people fiberglass custom ones without too much work for other cars. I could scan an article on it I have in a magazine telling you exactly how to do it. It looks easy enough considering how amazing the final product is.

I htought it was from an early 90s ford F150 that fit. I remember someone telling me that he was running an 850 pod at the bottom then a dual pod from an F150 ontop.

Can't remember who though

1987 740

i'm running a faze "universal" dual pillar pod. it doesn't look stock because it only goes about half way up the pillar, but it's functional and pretty clean looking. i ran all the wires in some wire loom. it took some work to get a good fit, but i'm pleased with the final outcome.

i'm running one from a nissan maxima, i trimmed the unit to fit more flush on my stock pillar cover... doesn't look stock by any means, but it's not blatantly obvious either

ok. here's some rushed pics of my setup.

here's the one i bought:

http://www.7453217467431.com/product...=1082587051500

it took quite a bit of careful trimming with a belt sander and dremel and quite a bit of shaping with a hot hairdryer and gloves.
