Default New (To Me) 1988 240 DL

Picked this up about 2 weeks ago for cheap. It has a title issue. It doesn't have one. I'm working on that but NYS is a PITA. Anyway...

1988 240 DL
Auto
Push button start
204,000 (The odometer doesn't work)
A few small rust spots but nothing too bad
The car was clean but i gave it a good cleaning

Photos;

Love it.

And with the blue/black dash. Interesting pinstripe on the trunk.

You could argue that it is the best year of the 240 . . . unkillable LH2.2, galvanized body panels, updated wiring harness (I think) . . .

Lookin' good!

Thanks all. Its got some rust where you cant see. One of the rear doors is rusted through but its covered up by the moulding on the bottom. No major rust though. Like i said it has some title issues that im working on sorting out. Here are some non iphone photos;

That car is in great shape and I'm digging the pinstripes and blue interior. I'm not normally much of an 86+ fan but I'd buy one that looks that good post haste.

clean 88 man, that's the same year as mine. It's so nice to see another 240 out there with a great interior. most of the time the interiors are cracked and ripped!

Thanks for the kind words. I went to Old Westbury.

If i can manage to get a title then sadly yes the ugly new plates will go on it. I think the new plates look good on certain cars but im not sure about a white 240. Might be better on a black one.

The 744 is a clean car with 180K. Zero rust so far.

There are a couple small cracks on the dash but you have to look for them to find them. Its very clean and solid inside! I few other plastic parts are chipped but nothing bad.

Yep. '88 should have the updated harness. Totally the best LH2.2 240 you can find.
