Question Updating B230K carb to LE-jetronic

I'm planning to replace carb in my -87 740 B230K with LE-jetronic taken from 360. ECU is Bosch 0 280 000 308. It that good for 2.3 liter engine or should I look for some other ECU?
Is there any other things/problems I should think about with my project?

Well if i was you, rather than go to LH from a carb fed motor, i would stick MegaSquirt on, nice and cheap and programable, so when you want to turbo your car (go on, you know you want to!) its going to be much simpler. Do a search for MS+S or go look in the acticles section.

The reason why I'm going to use LE-jetronic is, it's practically free for me. Also engine has compression ratio 10.5, so most likely I never use turbo. I'm only looking for better fuel-economy and some more torque and HP.

Ah right, i get your point.....free is good! and so what about 10.5, thats nothing, you can turbo any engine. Higher compression you have to use more fuel??? (am i right about that?) than a lower compression....i dont know. Its just if you are going to the bother of retro fitting an ECU etc, then just a bit more work (and approx $150) and you have a programable one....thats all. Your choice in the end. (sorry for the OT)

Im sure someone will chime in soon with actual usefull information towards your LH swap. All i can say is, good luck mate, and take lots of pics!

sounds good. does the 360 use the 209 injectors like all the other LH 2.0/2.3's, i've got LH-jet in my 242 with 16V and it's a bit lacking for that so i'm looking for a few smaller improvments while i build my MS up

Most likely yes. I haven't got parts yet. You mean, volume is not enough? Which ones would be better?

In 740, is it necessary to have that pre-pump in fueltank? I have mainpump from 360 injection.
Should I change fuel-lines or can original lines for carb system take pressure?
