Supposedly it's a "smart" computerized alternator control that forces the alternator to always produce 14.4-14-6Volts. This was in Europe. Anyone ever hear of one in the US or a similar system with a different name? I believe it was for use on cars that are retrofitted with digital EMS so that the computer always has correct voltage.

I have done some research on this and have not found anything like that. I know that MSD just came out with a new alternator but could not find any info on its output. I guess just keep googling till something turns up. Hopefully someone will know something. |
