since for sale forum require price, I would like to ask here, how much would a turbobricker pay for this?

you guys do notice the rust spot when thinking of the price right?
the car has been in San Deigo all its life, I can't find VIN record for it (it's actually 2 digit less than today's VIN) but I have all the record since 1980!

I had an identical one for a while too. 1980, 242, blue interior, white exterior. Parted it out.

$1500-$3000 would probably be fair, depending on the condition of the wiring and such. Body looks good.

Volvo was the #1 imported car into North America in 1980.

So I would say there are a few still left.

Nice car, there is a local guy with a mint green '79 for sale. He wants $3500 for it, but it has IPD bits and has been completely gone through (he was a Volvo salesman and bought it new).

I would say that car could pull anywhere from $1-2k pretty easily depending on its presentation in person.

Its hard to give a proper price off of a few pictures on a 30+ year old car.
