It would look better without 3 axles and the shitty chrome wheels and bed insert.

Yup, lose 1 set of axles, the wheels, and finish the bed off tastefully and you have what the Honda Ridgeline could have been.

Two axles would be needed to hold over a tonne of load in the bed, if it had some steelies on it with 4x4 tyres, it wouldn't be bad.

American dualies look ridiculous IMO from a distance it looks like it's towing a trailer.

Google "Dalbo fordonsteknik"!
Dalbo is a place in Sweden, "fordon" means "vehicle" and "teknik" means "technology".

They started out building trailers and other one-of-a-kind vehicles for hauling race cars/bikes. Since then things have gotten really out of hand, nowadays they're mostly known for their ugly-as-**** pickups...
