Default 0Dollar944T Summer DD

So I got this car for free a couple months ago. It's a 1992 944 with 155k on the clock, Regina, new A/C, and a locking AW-70.

The previous owner is a family friend that is getting married in a few months and wants to get a new car. He no longer wanted it because he was quoted $1000 to fix an exhaust leak, a binding diff, and possibly a headgasket

Turns out that he got ripped off on the manifold, the rear end has a G80, and the HG is fine.

My plans are not to go crazy with it. I'm gonna DD it this summer as my wife will probably want the smaller Fit do do her work driving in.

I have almost everything I need to do a +T on it (from the hooptie) so that will be the first non-maintenance item on it after I get it sorted out.

Basically it will be:
15G
3" downpipe and cat, and either finish off the 3" exhaust or weld on some stock pipes
slotted V-cam
Ghetto intercooler

Suspension upgrades:

New Volvo rubber suspension bushings
IPD swaybars
Nice shocks and struts
cut springs
S80 steelies with 225/50 tires and 32/36mm spacers.

Gonna most likely run 5psi until I have time to install a piggyback to it. Probably an SMT-6 or Apex'i VAFC as some guys here have experience with those.

Now a couple pics of the car:

It's an up scale car. You just need to ditch the hydras and get something classy(maybe bbs mesh). Then get it detailed out.

Well, it has a lot of issues (missing corner lens [unobtanium], heater core is bad, branded title, trashed seats, and it has almost twice as many miles as this thing)

I have another set in mind. Do 16x9.5 meshies sound at all appealing?

Perhaps. I want to get the piggyback and the wideband wired in before I do

V cam acquired.

These are getting ordered over the weekend:

Airflow converter

That is, if I don't find something that will **** with ignition timing first.

And this:

Wideband

The plan is to do the accumulator mod and swap an oil pan with a turbo oil drain over spring break.

Also, ghettocooler won't fit, so I will use an Ebay IC with side exit tanks, probably a 24" unit.
