Default SLOWZ0R Wagon

First post reserved for car info.

So I picked up this rusty 245 for free by fixing my aunt-in-law's 745. I had a broken window, wasp nests, torn fuel hose, flat tire and plenty of rust but its free.

Here's my plans:
Get it running
Chalkboard Hood (inspired by crazychopstick)
chop springs
Paint wheels
replace window
roof rack
push bar
fogs
douchey bro stickers
whatever else I want or other people suggest to make it a douchey bro ride

Some shots of the car.

That's why it won't start. Hose out of the in-tank pump was torn.

Wasp nest on the fuel tank.

I got the car started. But its got a big leak from the return line. Looks like I gotta go digging at the junkyard again.

Well I went to undo the return line fitting and about where the fuel filter sits the line sheard off pouring gas on my face. I guess on one of the clips that holds it to the body there was a bunch of rust on the line. I'm gonna cut it off and maybe replace the section with a compression fitting.

ug. I hate fuel lines...

oh, looking at your original post I noticed you want fogs... there is a wrecked 240 at 12street upick with the factory fogs in the grille. the drivers side is perfect, the passenger side is good minus the bracket is bent. sadly the only thing left of the round headlight setup is the drivers bucket (with damage).

I put in the 940 efan in it and it works. Got to put in the saab 900 switch in the upper hose. The fuel return line is still leaking. I need to figure something else out to fix it.

thanks

no project thread yet... its basically a gutted drag/drift wagon. the finish is usually used oil. in the above picture its been oil free all winter, so its as dry as it gets.

I need to make a thread though. damn 244 has gotten in the way

**** it I think I'll just buy a whole return line if I can find a used one in good condition. Rather than wasting more money on fittings when they might leak again with the whole metric and standard fittings and line.

Hood hinge broke.

Got a new return line on and put new gas in. Car idles and starts well now, but stalls when giving it some gas.
