Volvo Turbo+ Kit - Info Needed

I can't seem to get this to come up when I do a search, probably because of the "+" in the search string.

I'm buying a '92 745T that the previous owner installed a Turbo+ kit on. It was a used kit when he bought it on Craigslist a few years ago and he never had time to troubleshoot why it didn't work properly. Does anybody have a pdf of the installation manual and does anybody know exactly how this works, or can direct me to a resource online with the info?

I do have that info tucked away somewhere. Pester me over the next few days, and I'll look it out for you.

cheers

Great question! I've tried to search for info on this also but +T info always comes up.

I have a car with turbo+ system installed and from time to time the boost goes crazy and pegs the stock boost gauge, shut car off and it's normal again.

Looks like a excess of wiring just to increase boost a few pounds. I have the manual for this but it has very little info in it.

Yeah Thanks Lando! The old turbobricks thread answered most of my questions as far as what it does aside from increasing boost.

I have a feeling the control valve on my car is acting up.

With a few jumpers and that diagram you can confirm your suspicion. I just removed my turbo+ and put on an MBC.

Apologies for the delay. I've dug out what I have, and it's just the 6-page supplementary manual...I think for the LH2.2 system. It's the same one in that thread, but in JPEG form. I thought there was more of a wiring diagram than the one posted above, but the memory is playing tricks.

Great info in this thread !!! Someone should make this a sticky....alot of hard to find info, thanks to several members here..........Thanks Guys!!

Nice find Swede Sixteen vt !!!!!!!

i've remove mine to change all the vacuum lines and then forgot where the control valve connects, anyone with it install from factory has a picture of the hoses ?

im currently running a MBC until i can get this reinstalled properly before tomorrow, the car is gonna be sold

Okay the hose from the electric switch goes to a T right at the turbo wastegate line. So at the T one goes to this electic switch and one goes to turbo and one goes to wastegate. Other hose off switch in pic goes into the air box. Easy biz.

The way this works is it bleeds some air out of the wastegate line so the wastegate statys shut longer.
