Idea for tach circuit
We almost all need to make a circuit to get the stock tach to work. Here's what I did with mine, completely tossed inside a standard automotive relay.
 Compact!

Mine's not as small, but I put an optoisolator on it for some reason.

I used a Mitsubishi tack adapter that comes with my eclipse/talon coil pack, works great!

Nice packaging!
The standard circuit, but not showing the relay package pinout, is:  If you're going to build this, using the alternate MPSA42 or ZTX458 transistors, instead of a 2N5551, will be slightly more reliable. If you're picking up noise on your radio from this, add a 1K resistor across the relay coil - http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=303082 |

Ok- so running a jumper from spare pin-say pin three to js10 would provide a signal to enable this circuit?
