My 142GL:
![]() ![]() ![]() Those are Taurus alloys, btw. They bolt right on, though the offset is 43mm, like an 850. I'll bug Mr.Gil for some spacers someday, but I like the look of them even now. It's funny: to me they look more 'right' aesthetically on my car than on the donor Ford. The car has been lowered in the front since the photo was taken, and has an IPd bar and 205/55/16's. I also like that the window tint happens to match the paint... Not sure if it shows up in the photo, but GL's in 73 used a blue window tint, rather than grey of a 240/700. It's about to become a NA performance OHC test bed. I'm thinking about 165 hp from 162 cid is reasonable. If I get (too) comfortable with that, a blue bottle might be in the car's future. My 544: Vintage performance....2280lbs, approx 145hp@4800rpm ![]() |

Love that 544, really nice car, had the picture already on my computer, don't you got a website of the car??
If I could find a 142 from an old lady here in belgium I buy one, low km, and never been driven hard. But I don't got the money.
