Default $180 volvo

Here's what $180 got me. A 1982 240GL in good running condition. Interior is clean aside from the cracked dash and faded back seat. New radiator, fuel pump, exhaust, newer battery. Over 200k miles. All but one of the power windows works. A/C is dead, but blower is strong. OD switch is dead... Sunroof reluctantly opens half-way, needs new rear brakes and rotors and front end alignment. Overall fairly straight. Good glass all around. It's even rockin' the Pioneer cassette player. I'm already up to $250 after the wheels and some misc. maintenance items. Going to dump some more on it if i can score a Flathood this weekend. It's just gonna be my daily until my 122s is up and running again then i'll pass it on.

Curtis,

If you want to stop by this evening and swap power windows/switches/whatever off my uncle's 244GL which will be headed to the scrapper in a couple days anyways, you're welcome to.

I can even do a quickie front end toe alignment (tape measure, YEAH!) if need be.

Still have my address, right?

Eh - you've still got three good rods, just up the boost a little more to compensate for the missing rod. -- JohnMc

What's involved in blacking out the trim? Painting it all black or removing the chrome strips?

I want a flat-black flathood, black grill, and 7" rounds to finish it off.

Unfortunately, i haven't had any cassettes for about 10 years. At least i won't worry about someone thieving the deck.

My Volvo cost less than an Ipod!
