Default b234f pistons

does anyone know if the stock b234f pistons are forged? and where a good place would be to get forged replacments at reasonable cost? thanks

Definitely not forged. Reinforced cast. They will have a steel insert that is probably visible in the crown area, from the underside of the piston.
