Yes.

But just so everyone knows: The programmed fuel-cut is removed in the chips. On the stock chips the ECU cuts fuel when it sees a too high air-flow at a given rpm. With my chips that restriction is removed. AMM-cut can still happen if you out-flow it. Then it is time for a bigger AMM and maybe do the diode trick.

Um....don't mean to but in guys....but with a 2.5 inch exhaust, k&n and mbc, what performance should i be seeing for just the ecu chip? and would msd be a better option than the icu chip and trying to find a chippable ezk box??

and way earlier in the pissing contest i saw something about spare aw71's.....will it start to shred or something with just 250hp?

the MSD does nothing to the timing maps unles you get a box that you can porgram .. the MSD is worth it for those trying to run high amounts of boost or those running larger injectors and richer mixtures

I don't think so. Besides, 250 (at the wheels) on an AW71 is prolly 275+ on a manual.

There are guys that have done 13's in the 1/4 with AW71's and drive them everyday. My car is huge torque monster and spins when it gets the chance yet my '71 is hanging in there.

Take care of them and they live. I've got mangents in the pan, an inline magnetic filter, a huge cooler, a 330cfm fan on the cooler, and Royal Purple synthethic coursing through it's veins.

Cheers
