Default Teaser: Rims possibly for sale, 14lbs 8oz ea!

I just got done digging a set of these out of my parent's basement:

They're a set of Raceline mesh wheels. They're 14"x6.5", and weigh in at a scant 14lbs 8oz with center caps! My dad bought these for our 1979 245 roughly twenty years ago. We had them on for a couple years and then they just sat in the corner of the basement. They're in pretty good shape.

These are just preliminary pictures, I want to polish them up once we get back home. They have minor curb rash and corrosion, and one has some gouges from what appears to be wheel weights. I haven't looked them over really well, but overall, they're in good shape and could use a bit work to look excellent. The paint on the mesh part is excellent on all four. They'd make great autocross wheels or just a nice upgrade for an old school look.

I'll post more pics in a few days when I get them cleaned up better. They're the correct fit for rwd Volvos, although I'm going to measure the offset and everything too. Although I can't find it right now, we have a picture of our 245 going around Charlotte Speedway and sitting in the winners circle from back in the day. Anyway. Any thoughts or interest in these?

My father said he got these in St. Louis in the mid eighties. All my dad remembers about them on the car is that he didn't really like how they looked and that he had a minor problem with a vibration that he thought was coming from one of them. Once he took them off the wagon, he put them downstairs, forgot about them and never put them back on another car. They were stored in a dark corner of the basement/junkyard. Heck, I wish I would have remembered about these wheels, I'd have put them on one of my own rides. Part of me wants to keep them, because they'd look great with some elbow grease. Unfortunately for me, I need the money.

Give me a few days to clean these up, get a good look at them, measure the offset, and get some better pics up.

14" does not clear on a 700 series with ABS.

Give me a few days to appraise their condition. I'll make a formal "For sale" thread after I decide what I have on my hands and what I want for them. Thanks for your patience guys. Like I stated in the title, this is a teaser...

Hoosiers bagged, last years hoosiers below, spare hoosier (bagged) and 16" RA1's on the bottom. 275 hoosier on the bottom of the tall stack, then v710's stacked 4 high. Behind, another spare bagged hoosier with a set of 225/45/17 street tires. Now, the bagged set of hoosiers is gone, but 2 victoracers and 2 v700 ecstas filled that void. Later this week I'm picking up a set of 15" v710s.

Most were cheap, half were free, the 16" V710's I paid for. I'm a collector...a connoisseur if you will, of fine tires.

Oh yeah, I do have some wheels, too. But tires are my forte.
