Default Ordered Centerforce DF...any advice on installation?

Things to look out for?
Besides spline tool, any other special tools to look for?
Experience installing this clutch and PP?
(BTW the application is as it would be on a 240 Turbo, i.e. No step flywheel, 8.5" clutch)

Thanks!

Install to happen in two weeks...gunna get my hands dirty...about time I know!

Cheers,

Have you ever had the joy of dropping the trans?

You'll need a REALLY long extension. I made it happen with 17mm|3"ext|universal|2'ext|3/8"->1/2" adapter|6"ext|1/2" ratchet. That's to reach the two bolts at the top of the engine/bellhousing.

A block of wood and cinderblock under the oil pan will keep it from dropping too far when you remove the rear crossmember.

Disconnecting/reconnecting the clutch cable will be way easier if you remove the bolt the clutch pedal rests on at rest (take a look, you'll see it 10mm head, about three or four inches long with a rubber sheath).

You'll also need to address the OD wiring, I think it unplugs under the carpeting.
